Tuesday night, Monday's chemo went witout a hitch

Hi world of wonderful friends, just a brief note to let you know Elaines chemo went well on Monday.
She obviously feels the effects of it but no major problems or alergic reactions. She is in quite good spirits, although we obviously have our moments. UCSF called today, per our request they are preparing parafin block slides of Elaines tumour that was removed last year, so we can pick them up and take them to the pathology department at Stanford. We want Stanford to run their rule over it and see if they concur with the diagnosis and if they can give is any further clarification on the type of cancer it is so we can be sure the treatment is the most appropriate and best.
Well it's late for this old dude, so i'm off to bed, thank you Liz and Natalie for visiting Elaine today, thank you Stefanie for bringing her dinner, thank you Lisa for the beautiful letter, thank you Mr and Mrs Nue (clients) for the sweet card, thank you everyone for your thoughts, prayers, love and support. Hope to have better news in the weeks ahead, love Keith.
and a special big I LOVE YOU to mum and dad, hope to see you soon.

Hi Keith,

Just got caught up with the blog. Thanks for doing this. I've been blogging for a good 5 years, and have learned that people don't always comment, but rest assured, we do read your posts and we really appreciate the time you spend keeping everyone up to date. We're glad this treatment went good and hope for continued results.
Warm brotherly love from a yank,
Jathan

Hi Keith,
I too have been catching up on the blog and truly appreciate the time you take out of your busy schedule to keep us all up to date on Lainey's progress. Sometimes as "outsiders" (not immediate family members) we may feel too intimidated to call and ask what the latest is or we may feel like we are bugging you, so again, thank you for keeping us posted.

This blog is proof that you have a wonderful support group to depend on. Would we expect any less of Jehovah's people? We all love you and pray that Elaine makes continued progress in the weeks to come.

Katie and I are looking forward to spending some time with Elaine once our company leaves. Until then, give her a big hug for me.

Hi Guys!

Just wanted to let you know that we are checking in to see how things are going. That will be good if you can find out exactly what you are dealing with and zero in on the best treatment. We are cheering for you guys and pray that you can get as much rest as possible we know you must be exhausted. We will see you later in the week. Love you!
